"As world language teachers, our goal is to provide students withopportunities that improve their speaking, reading, listening, writing, andcomprehension in the target language. However, we all can attest to the factthat textbooks and workbooks are not the most authentic nor engaging waysto reach these goals with students. If you are looking for new and energizingideas that improve these key skills and liven up your classroom, look nofurther than the iPad. In this session, we will explore a variety of easy ways to integrate the iPad into a 1:1 world language classroom that will get yourstudents excited about learning a new language while getting them out of their seats and away from their workbooks. These strategies can be used for all levels and will inspire you to look differently at how you approach foreign language instruction."
